ok, been busy for the past 3 weeks

been in cyberjaya for the past 3 weeks,

will be going to palete palette for production wrap party on sunday(yay!)

been having fun and learning a lot, been tired too, been meeting a lot of people...

been missing uni life, loving the environment at my work place, eventhough it's quite tiring at times, but fun nonetheless~~

will be missing every crew and cast once the production is done... OMG, i cried on the small farewell we had with angie and the extras, it's so gonna rain on the wrap party.. me, that is...

can't wait for next production, can't wait for august, can't wait for premiere of my production, can't wait, can't wait, can't wait...

First day

things going on my mind :
how am I gonna do all these?

honestly, it's only my 3rd day and I'm taking the opportunity to quickly write about my 1st day before i get so damn hectic and tired that I can't even move my body...

My 1st day was informative, i was briefed about the programme I'm doing and the things I might have to do etc.

then, I had NOTHING to do.. in mid-day, i was looking around and getting used to the environment, oh, it's my 3rd day and i still don't have my own workspace, i pretty much sit at an oval table for meetings coz' the places allocated for my programme is FULL... and there is a lot of programmes going on... some shooting, some planning, some casting and mine, shooting this Sunday...

anyway, on tuesday aka my 1st day of intern, I did paper flowers*cue:ring a ring a roses* as props for my programme, i had to do 30... and it was somewhat a new experience, i was praised for having creative hands and doing it quite fast, nice flowers, etc. I couldn't finish it on the 1st day, so Mona, my producer asked me to finish tomorrow... which i did, by mid-day, i finished my flowers and they are now ready for sale... just kidding.. haha... afternoon, after lunch, again i had nothing to do, so i looked for things to do and I had to send e-mails, i sorta regret giving my personal e-mail out, coz it's, well, personal.. but anyway, i sent e-mails and until today, none has replied... I'm so scared that I'll jeopardize the project...

anyway, u're looking at the intern/production assistant/props maker...

on the evening of my second day, i had to make a tengkolok for one of the characters.. so i had the hardest time figuring out what and how to do it, coz' the material/cloth was very flimsy and hard to handle, and the tengkolok just wouldn't become straight... anyway, i became so frustrated that I left at 7... hoping to get it done by the next day coz' i was really drained... i just met my creative block.. hahaha.. get it? like writer's block? walked 5 mins of pasar malam before it started raining tanks of water,.. went back to sec. 17 instead...

3rd day, i finished my tengkolok, which was required to be cut off in half coz' it was too big.. so i did with a heavy heart and sew it back together... my hard work sort of paid off... then i started doing my episode breakdown, which my producer asked me to do ever since the morning... i only started at 3..

have I told you my work time is 10-7? talk about avoiding the jam.. and we don't have a fixed lunch time, so 11 is ok, 3pm is ok too... and then, working here is quite flexible, at around 4/5pm, all the interns can have tea at the pantry, there's places for u to sit and all... the working lifestyle here isn't that stress and all, but once in a while, u get some frustrations here and there, oh, and being in this line, we can check Facebook, provided we have nothing urgent that need to be done...

honestly, i feel a very heavy load on me this time... coz' i'm given responsibility of a lot of things, one of em' is continuity, which I'm lucky this time coz' this programme isn't as complicated as a drama... second, i'm responsible over the talent release forms, which make my file SUPER P&C and NO ONE IS SUPPOSED TO TAKE MY FILE, it's even written on the side of the file.. can u imagine how P&C it is? my production manager told me no one is supposed to see it... and i have to make sure the file is brought everywhere and kept nicely, i have to guard my life with it.. well, not exactly in those words, but u get the point... oh, i get to hold a clapper board this time around, my 1st, hopefully not my last...

I'm getting used to the environment already... though sometimes i find it hard to express my sentences in malay, but i'm learning.. it get's easier everytime...

sunday's my 1st shooting.. and hell.. call time is 6am and ends at 11.30.. and all the responsibilities is under me! I'll have to be a super woman to handle this one.. no, i need to be a god to get this one done...

no outtings or nightime yum cha sessions for the whole month of June coz' i'll either be dead busy or dead tired... choose one.. u'll never get it wrong..
