Departure of an uncle

things going on my mind :

my uncle officially departed on 9th Dec @ 2.45pm... after havin stayed at my place for 1 year due to lung cancer...
initially i din felt anything.. but when the cremation time came, i cried like nobody's biz.. i was wondering why i'd cry like that... dunno, guess it was sad that i'd never see him again, memories came flooding by and the tears came rolling down, it was as if it was burning the memories as well...
it sucks to be the juniors, my knees screamed when we did repetitive kneeling and praying during the prayers...
on the other hand, the cremation process was quite advanced, i'd have thought that ppl would manually push the coffin in and start the fire like an oven, but wat i saw today is like a coffin conveyor belt.. like passing through a security check conveyor belt sort of thing, the doors were opened, it was pushed in by a touch of a button(maybe a few) the doors then closed, another touch of the button and 3 more last respects paid, the burning began, u can't exactly hear sounds of burning body or anything, there was just sounds of burning i guess, it kinda sounded like the cooking hood working.. collection of ashes is tomoro, which mum, aunts and cousins will do the honour of spreading it into the sea.. exam's tomoro, can't go, which is another sad thing..

it was really an eye-opener..
